The local store is always clean, airy and the products are nicely spaced out and easy to find. The customer service is always great and the shop assistants are efficient and friendly. It is my go to store for lovely quality and unusual tiles. They may be a bit pricier than other tile stores but the quality is generally better.

We purchased tiles for an en suite refurb but needed to get some more on advice from our tiler. Initially we were told they were end of line but the store in Glasgow had more so we purchased. When we were told the retailer had more, we needed to batch match which was fine, but were then told that we wouldn't get them at the discounted price. As they were a compromise, we took the other tiles back.

This meant we needed tiles urgently. We went in to Topps, Hemel Hempstead on the Friday and there were only two options that suited but one was out of stock of the quantity we needed and the other was more expensive. Knowing our predicament, he gave us a little extra discount which meant we were able to collect our tiles on the Monday and we didn't leave empty handed - win-win and the tiles have now been installed and look great too.

Visited Carlisle store on Friday 15th July, served by friendly and helpful store manager and assistant. Excellent customer service, was informed promptly when my order had arrived in store, was helped to load my car with my goods when I collected my order. Would highly recommend this store, restores my faith in good old fashioned customer service which is lacking within so many businesses these days.

Not the first time I bought from Topps Tiles but once again a fantastic experience and great product. Would stood out was the staff in the two branches I used. They were so friendly and helpful both in helping me choose tiles, ordering, dleivery and refund of tiles that were left at the end. The tiles are high quality, despite being on the lower end of the price range and I an delighted with how they look in situ.

Was very happy to find the right tiles for the patio. Ordered sample to collect in store - no problem. Then made an order online and it turned into a costly nightmare. Wrong tiles have been delivered already twice. The third attempt missed the delivery date and is "heldover" now, whatever that means. The customer service is trying their best but there seems to be a communication problem somewhere within the delivery chain. Do not know what to tell to the tilers now, just want to escalate the issue and have it over.

I wanted some tiles for the kitchen floor.
Topps staff were helpful but not intrusive, not pushy.
Loads of choice and good price-range.

As a Topps tiles gold trader I use them across several branches almost on a weekly basis, as a rule the staff in store are pleasant and helpful. A few years ago we experienced quite a few problems with damages in deliveries and made the decision to no longer purchase tiles from Topps as the issues were frequent and causing us too many delays. In recent months we have started to purchase tiles once again from our local branch but here we are again a delivery with over 50% of the order damaged and no system in place to expedite the replacement of the order. Leaving us sat at home losing money and having to placate a very unhappy customer who is left without a bathroom for an extended period of time.
